2024 has been quite a year when it comes to beauty trends, and our beloved celebrities were the perfect canvases. The best beauty looks, whether they were on the red carpets of the 2024 Emmy Awards or the ramps of Miss Universe 2024, had us in chokehold. And with more diverse voices in the field of beauty, the best beauty moments of 2024 had something for everyone. Blush blindness for the chubby cheeked girls, snatched jawlines for more angular faces, and most importantly, a lot of focus on feature appropriate makeup looks.

Keeping it stunning and simple was The Modern Family star Sofia Vergara on the red carpet of 2024 Emmy Awards. The actress was wearing a bright red ruched gown, and her makeup, with a small winged liner, and a lighter lip shade was perfect for the days when you want to look good but also low maintenance. Another thing that made her look so on point was the 2024 hair trend of subtle waves. As we said, understated!

While Sofia kept it lite, Alia Bhatt’s Met Gala appearance was hands down one of the best beauty moments of 2024, especially when it comes to maximalist style. Smokey, glam, and very 90’s, this was a makeup look from 2024, we’d like to see more of, even in 2025.

Ms Hydari has never needed a reason to glow, and while 2024 gave her many, her looks from the Heeramandi promotions were just chef’s kiss! There is no way we can choose any one, she instead has a long list of best beauty looks. From Aditi’s dreamy wedding in Telangana, then her promotion looks, and then the fun celebration in Rajasthan, the list of her beauty moments in 2024 is endless.
6. Kajol
Now, Kajol is generally not a regular here. Simply because the actress keeps a low profile, and sticks to her neutrals and soft makeup looks. For a fashion magazine’s cover shoot however, the ace makeup artist Namrata Soni decided to opt for the 2024 beauty trend of a bright red lip, and the pictures? Just plain gorgeous! And apart from Sobhita’s couture look, a 2024 hair trend that made it to this shoot as well was the sleek long hair, which just added to her fierce look.

We cannot list the best beauty moments of 2024, and then not talk about Rhode Beauty’s impact. Hailey Beiber’s lip treatment was all the rage this year. From being seen on countless celebrities, to beauty brands trying to dupe it all the time, the product single handedly brought the 2024 beauty trend of glossy lips alive. Between the custom phone covers and great looks being served with every outing, when it comes to iconic beauty moments of 2024, Hailey Beiber was the it girl this year.
8. Ariana Grande
Ending the year on a magical note, pun very intended, was singer-actress Ariana Grande. While she changed her look a bit for her film Wicked, the 2024 makeup trend that got Ariana on all out beauty Pinterest boards was the very cutesy monochrome makeup. For the promotions, Ariana extensively did pink monochrome looks, and served festive beauty inspo left, right, center!
