In a beautiful setup at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married on the morning of December 4th, 2024. The Telugu-style wedding ceremony is believed to have been attended by close friends and family, and the pictures were shared by Naga Chaitanya’s father, actor Nagarjuna on his profile on the social media platform, X. Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala wedding pictures painted a stunning picture of the very graceful setup at the venue, with the floral arrangements in the auspicious colours of ivory, orange, and red. The bride Sobhita, has been the epitome of classic Andhra beauty with her wedding outfits, wore a Kanjivaram silk saree with real gold zari for the ceremony. Naga Chaitanya matched the elegance of her attire with a dashing Pancha, the traditional Andhra Pradesh dhoti. Sobhita opted for traditional gold jewellery, including her bajubands and kamarband, while Chay kept the look simple and elegant.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala love story goes back to 2022, and the couple kept the relationship under wraps for the longest time, till their engagement ceremony earlier this year. This happens to be actor Naga Chaitanya’s 2nd marriage; he was married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu prior to this.

The festivities started with the actress sharing a glimpse of her raata sthaapana and mangalasnaanam ceremonies. In Telugu weddings, ritual happens before the wedding day where the bride and groom take an auspicious bath, to purify them and prepare them before the wedding rites and rituals begin. For the event in the Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya wedding, the actress wore a simple and stunning yellow saree, and was adorned with delicate gold jewels.
Pelli Kuthuru ceremony
This ceremony in Telugu weddings happens on the bride’s side where she is blessed by family members, wishing her a happy married life. The ceremony is a bit of marker of her being recognised as a bride, kickstarting the festivities in a way. For this event, Sobhita wore a stunning red and gold saree, and paired it with traditional gold jewellery, with the bajuband being an absolute highlight for us. In this ceremony, both the families come together, and women from both sides grind wheat and raw turmeric together, signifying the union of the two families. In a stunning coral red saree with a green border, traditional gold jewellery, and her green bangles, Sobhita was quite the charming bride to be at this celebration.
Pre-wedding celebrations in Vizag
Cocktail parties or get together before the wedding festivities begin are quite common now, and Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya wedding is no different. Sobhita also shared the pictures of what she wore to her side of the pre-wedding celebrations, or as she called it ‘Young People’s Party'. Dressed in an archival Sabyasachi ensemble, Sobhita looked chic, and her styling made it even better. The Made In Heaven actress paired the red ensemble with juttis, chunky accessories like payals and chandbalis, and had her hair slicked back into a long plait.
