Now that restaurants have re-opened, it is time to take a look at some exciting food promotions and limited-edition menus that you can savour.

This is a family feast curated by Chef Anuradha Joshi Medhora for you to enjoy the festive season with a wholesome and rich meal from the comfort and safety of your home. Specialising in the royal cuisine of Malwa, Chef Joshi Medhora has vegetarian and non-vegetarian options of the Maharajas Delight Box featuring dishes such as Makkai Akhrot Ke Kebab, Susa Ke Alu Bharwan Tindori, Imli Murg and her signature Goli Kebab. These meals are priced at Rs 1700 onwards depending on your preference.

Indian hot sauce brand Naagin and gourmet-pizza kitchen Lil Gamby have come together for a socially conscious collaboration celebrating everyone’s love for hot sauce and pizza. For every order placed from this collaboration, the brand donates a meal to children in need.

The limited-edition two-pizza-menu is the brainchild of Chef Sushil Multani, executive chef at Lil Gamby. Lil Naagin Ghost Pepper Pizza uses a mushroom sauce base, topped with onion and potato slices, generously garnished with truffle oil and parmesan shavings, the pizza gets its heat from the Naagin Smoky Bhoot sauce. Lil Naagin OG Amatriciana pizza, takes an Indian twist to the classic Italian pasta sauce, fired up by using the Naagin Original Hot Sauce, used as pizza sauce at Lil Gamby. For toppings, there is crispy bacon, tomato and onion and garnished with Pecorino Romano cheese. The pizzas are priced at Rs 650 onwards.

September 4-5, 2021, the Thai Trade Centre, Mumbai in co-operation and collaboration with the Thailand Consulate-Mumbai, Tourism Authority of Thailand and Four Monkeys, is organising the Thai Food Bazaar 2021. The food festival will showcase the best of Thai flavours with live food stations, a Thai food cooking competition, live music, and much more.

Thai Food Bazaar 2021 will highlight Thailand’s agricultural and culinary riches through a stellar line-up of food, beverages, and ingredients over two days. This includes food from restaurants Seefah and Nara, Mumbai, and fresh Thai imports by Anusaya Fresh. Entry is free.

Chef Raveena Taurani is running a Mexican fiesta, a limited-edition vegan, gluten-free and refined sugar-free Mexican menu, at Yogisattva. Some of the stars on the menu include Mexican avocado on toast with oat and seed flatbread and pesto verde; jackfruit tacos with avocado and vegan sour cream, gluten-free tacos are made with organic amaranth and flaxseed flour, and baked churros with a cacao dipping sauce, the vegan and gluten-free baked churros are made of organic rice flour, almond milk and unrefined coconut sugar. This limited-edition menu is available until September 15, 2021 for dine-in and delivery.

Indulge in an array of after-school snacks and chaat items at this restaurant in Kolkata in memory of your teachers. The menu features favourites such as samosas sandwich pakora, Aloo chaat, kulfi with falooda and Rooh-Afza, and good old-school strawberry and vanilla milkshakes. The menu is available only till September 5, 2021.

Between 12 noon and 5 pm, Monèr, Mumbai’s Bistro and Dessert Bar has a High Tea Menu inclusive of a traditional three-tiered platter filled with dainty delicacies. Some of these delightful treats include an amped-up version of a Bombay sandwich, scones with a housemade jam, an assortment of cookies like butter sable cookies, and lemon madeleines, Gruyère and mushroom Gougères, and more. Devour these baked goodies with a cup of Anandini Himalayan teas in flavours such as Snow Kissed Kashmir Infusion, a green tea that turns a beautiful pink thanks to hints of the cockscomb flower, the Indian Bouquet tea that is infused with rose petals, chamomile, rhododendron, and cornflower, and an assortment of teas. The high tea menu at Monèr is priced at Rs 2,150 plus taxes.

Enjoy a Sunday Lunch at The Sassy Spoon, Powai as Dwayne Gamree fills the afternoon with foot-tapping music. Dwayne started his journey as a professional musician in 2009 and over the years has performed with Ankit Tiwari, Shreya Ghoshal, Clinton Cerejo, SonuKakkar, Vishal Dadlani, Rohan Sippy, Vishal Bhardwaj, Amit Trivedi amongst others.
So, this Sunday enjoy his tunes paired with lip-smacking delicacies and signature cocktails.

Celebrate the weekend with a brunch spread designed to ensure that you are satiated. JW Café’s multi-cuisine brunch buffet will showcase signatures such as honey glazed pork belly, Vietnamese rolls, exotic seafood and meat grill, Italian fritto misto stage, frankie stage amongst the others. As for drinks, the bar comes alive at your tableside with a range of handcrafted cocktails, beers, wines and other spirits to select from. The brunch is priced at Rs 2500 onwards.

antiSOCIAL has introduced Sunday Brunches filled with live food counters, refreshing cocktails, board games, and 90s hits coupled with disco music by the in-house DJ Mozez. Between 12:00 noon and 4:00 PM, the antiSOCIAL brunch will feature a different menu wherein one can experience three live food counters: chaat, momo and dim sum and tawa counter. The appetizers include Multani mushroom, truffle shiitake, and mushroom pizza, while the main course has favourites such as mac and cheese, veg tawa pulav, grilled fish in lemon butter sauce, and more. The cocktail menu is equally exciting with drinks such as Liquid Funk (vodka, gin, tequila, gold rum, palm sugar syrup, cold brew and apple), Calypso Riddim (white rum, kaffir lime leaves, yuzu pulp, orange, ginger and sweet and sour) and Slim Shady (tequila, Earl Grey tea, orange ginger, banana and clove syrup, lime and beer). The brunch is priced at Rs 1021 onwards.

The Singapore Tourism Board in India has partnered with Foodhall to celebrate The Singapore Food Festival (SFF). Held from August 27 to September 12, 2021, the Indian edition of the SFF will invite food lovers to dive into Singapore’s rich culinary landscape through a hybrid lineup of virtual and live events and activities at Foodhall stores across the country.
A special menu featuring Hainanese chicken rice, satay, baos and a unique ‘Toast Bar’ at the Café by Foodhall, as well as baked delights such as pandan cakes, egg tarts, curry buns, and more, baked fresh, daily, will be available at the Foodhall stores across India. Chef Anahita Dhondy has also curated Singaporean recipe ingredient boxes to cook up a meal at home.
