One of the biggest fashion events of the year, Paris Fashion Week comes to an end today, and gracing the city for the same was the Louis Vuitton brand ambassador and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. The French fashion house’s show was on 10 March 2025, and many stars and brand ambassadors attended the event.
Dressed head to toe in Louis Vuitton, Padukone looked effortless and oh-so-chic! Dressed in an ivory peacoat, with black leggings, and pointy toe heels, the actress channelled a very French girl look. Her hat and hair neatly tied with a beautiful scarf, further elevated the look. For the makeup, she opted for very subtle glam on the eyes and a bright Parisian red. The black gloves that Deepika Padukone wore with the look further added an element of drama. The makeup was done by Anil C, hair by Gabriel Georgiou, and styling was Deepika Padukone’s trusted Shaleena Nathani.
Actor and husband Ranveer Singh couldn't help but swoon. On the post, he wrote, “Lord have mercy on me 🫠” The fans couldn’t agree more, and the actor’s comment got thousands of likes within minutes of being posted. The actress, who is the first Indian to be signed as a global ambassador by the global luxury fashion house, was there to attend the Louis Vuitton show at the Cour Carrée du Louvre, the main courtyard of the Louvre Palace.
In addition to Louis Vuitton, Deepika is also the first Indian brand ambassador for the jewellery house Cartier and was seen at the Cartier event in Dubai last month. Dressed in a black gown by Jade by MK and jaw dropping Chryséis Necklace from the brand, Deepika Padukone looked radiant as ever.
Prior to this, in early Feb, Deepika also walked the ramp for ace Indian designer Sabysachi’s 25th Anniversary show, which happened to be one of her first public appearances after the birth of daughter Dua Padukone Singh.
Louis Vuitton Women’s Fall-Winter 2025
The show for Paris Fashion Week was a beautiful homage to the brand’s history with travel. For the uninitiated, the luxury brand started in Paris as a trunk making brand in 1854. The man himself was a master trunk maker, who was well known among the aristocrats and the elite as the go to person for flat-top, stackable luggage. While the regular luggage then featured domes lids, Vuitton’s creations let these world travellers be on the move for long.
Over time, the brand expanded to handbags, fashion, and even high end accessories, and lastly perfumes. Building on that history, Nicholas Ghesquire’s set theme for this show drew inspiration from a Parisian train station. The show that beautifully explores the moments between strangers, and the stories that follow, can be watched on their Instagram account, as well as the official website.
The outfits are bright, theatrical, and an interesting take on nostalgia. The venue in fact, which had been kept secret for a long time, was expected by many to be the Gare du Nord, however, it ended up being the Cour Carrée du Louvre. It was made into a very realistic looking train station waiting room by creative director Ghesquière and his stage designer extraordinaire, Es Devlin.
Other big names at LVFW25
Many other names were in attendance at the show, including actors Ana De Armas, Alicia Vikander, Emma Stone, Sophie Turner, Phoebe Dynevor and more. Pop star Lisa was also there, and made quite an entrance with the French First Lady Bridget Macaron, who happens to be quite a close friend of the creative director Niocholas Ghesquire.
Another big news from the show was Felix walking the ramp for LV. The Stray Kids’ star surprised fans by redebuting his iconic blonde hair after he had been seen sporting black hair for quite a long time. Since being announced as an ambassador in 2023, he has been seen at LV events and shows quite a few times, but his strict schedule keeps him occupied.
He made his runway debut almost a year ago, walking the fall-winter 2024 show, and expressed his gratitude and surprise at being asked to be on the ramp. The star revealed after the show that he was “very shocked and surprised” by the offer to walk, calling it a dream come true.
