In the past few weeks, many new entrants on the block have us quite excited. From Chef Seefah’s newest comfort food offering to Bastian’s opulent take on Peruvian-Asian cuisine, these newly opened restaurants in Mumbai have something for everyone!
INKA, Lower Parel
Starting the list of new restaurants in Mumbai with a bang is the latest from Bastian Hospitality, INKA. The group’s first Peruvian-Asian restaurant is headed by Chef Kinyo Rodas Tristan and is a 200-seater with stunning interiors. Their menu is divided into three categories, namely Bosque (forest), Montana (mountains), and Mar (ocean), offering not just a culinary but also a sensory experience. At the bar, their expert mixologist, Dario Araujo, curates Latin-inspired cocktails with flair, serving everything from classics to the most innovative takes. What’s not to like!

Eve, Santacruz
Eve Cafe & Bar, after their stellar run in Powai and Worli, open in Santacruz West this month. With grand interiors, stellar service, and a warm inviting vibe, Eve is one of the most exciting new restaurants in Mumbai in March.
Marrying an old world charm in the space with indulgent flavours, Eve’s third outing is as perfect for fun brunches as it is for cosy dinner dates. Their bar offering expertly crafted signature cocktails like Dr Pandan and Mind Over Matcha, is simply the cherry on top.

Built in what used to be a textile warehouse, this stunning eatery helmed by Chef Amit Dhoundiyal offers promises a fun, indulgent culinary experience. Whether it is their signature cocktails like Main Character Energy, or sushi options like Charcoal Asparagus Roll and Sesame Crusted Salmon Tataki, Late Checkout is a great new option to check out this weekend.

Pomodoro | Pasta & Coffee Bar, Bandra West
There is no dearth of good Italian restaurants in Mumbai, so what makes Pomodoro special then? Their fresh hand-rolled pasta! Chef Afshaa Rajqotwala’s beautiful, sunny eatery exudes a very Dolce Far Niente charm, channelling the spirit of the Italian fare with simple, and fresh ingredients.

The Tanjore Tiffin Room, NESCO, Goregaon
If you love good South Indian fare, the odds are that The Tanjore Tiffin Room is a familiar name. The great news for Mumbaikars is that the iconic eatery now has a new address in the city apart from their Versova and Bandra outlets.
Their newest launch in NESCO, Goregaon is also their largest in the city, and is full of stunning corners channeling the perfect Tamilian homely charm. If you are looking for newly opened restaurants in Mumbai that are comforting and hit a spot, this can’t be missed!

One of the latest entrants on the block, Mezzo Mezzo is the in-house eatery at JW Marriot in Juhu, offering European fare, headed by Chef Roberto Apa.
Soak up the views while you feast on the menu that reflects the 15+ years of the chef’s experience, seasoned with his love for cooking that began at 8 in his grandmother’s cucina. With influences from Greece, Spain, Italy, and Turkey, both in design as well as in dishes, this new restaurant in Mumbai is a great idea for both a Sunday brunch with friends as well as a laidback dinner with family.

Khao Man Gai, Bandra
Khao Man Gai might be new to the city’s culinary scene, but Chef Seefah isn’t! The much loved chef who is also the force behind the awarded eatery Seefah with husband Chef Karan, has brought to Bandra, the comfort food of Thailand.
Devoted to Thai chicken rice, this new restaurant in Mumbai is cosy and fully gives you the street-side feels of being in Bangkok. Whether you like it steamed, grilled, or fried, Khao Man Gai has it all, and then some more!

This entry on the list of new restaurants in Mumbai is just simply unique! Why? It’s India’s first sneaker retailing cocktail bar! You read that right. You can sip the craftiest of cocktails while buying the fanciest of sneakers at this eatery.
If cool vibes was a place, it’d be Kico! Apart from the very interesting concept, their menu will also delight you. The bar keeps it classic with the best of the liquor in the country, and the food options to go with it are just as good. Win win we say!
