Restaurants in Mumbai are finally witnessing full tables after a long wait, and the ongoing festive and summer season are only adding to their joy. To celebrate that as well as the seasonal bounty, restaurants across the city are churning out delicious new menus. Expect seasonal classics and innovative, experimental dishes that push the envelope of one’s expectations.

One of Mumbai's oldest and most popular alfresco dining spots, Gallops now has an all-new air-conditioned outdoor dining space—temperature-controlled canopies—and a brand-new summer cocktail menu. The tipples menu includes elderflower spring, frozen pineapple mojito, mango bellini, smoked negroni, and Russian grapefruit, among other drinks. You can pair these with an array of Gallops' classics including paneer marrakech, bacon wrapped prawns, arancini, and so on.

Seeds of Life, a café that promotes healthy, wholesome vegan and vegetarian meals, has introduced a few new additions to their existing food and drinks menu. The list includes pulled jackfruit burger, kale quinoa salad, butternut squash wrap, and kale matcha smoothie topped with in-house granola, sushi bowl, and an aloe vera cooler with organic jaggery.

Go for the coffee, bakes, and Instagram-worthy photo-ops to Café 49 and stay for their exciting new range of fruity summer cocktails and mocktails. To keep you cool this summer, they are serving a distinct lineup of tipples including uptown martini (a gin-based drink with green apple and cherries), shooting star (a vodka-based drink with Cointreau and raspberry), and Lost Garden (a rum-based drink with malibu and coconut cream).

A cloud kitchen by Hakuei Kosato, to mark its 10th anniversary, Sushi And More added temari and temaki, two new types of sushi—both, vegetarian and non-vegetarian—in their roster. For the uninitiated, temari is a bite-sized ball-shaped sushi that has a colourful appearance and it is served with Kikkoman soy sauce. Temaki (which literally means 'handroll'), on the other hand, features a bed of seasoned sushi rice layered with ingredients such pickled radish, eggplant, avocado, crabmeat, and salmon.

Alphonso and raw mango salad with a chilli-lemon dressing, mango gazpacho, summer fruits salad including Indian gooseberry, crab tortellinis with kokum sauce, and pork belly with pineapple-habanero sauce—these are a few of the interesting dishes on offer at Poco Loco as part of their summer special menu. The Spanish Mexican restaurant in Khar has also curated an extensive range of cocktails using molecular gastronomy, to complement their newest menu.

Known for its authentic Japanese fare in Mumbai, Wakai is now serving a special omakase menu and bento boxes. The omakase, curated by chef Parvez of Wakai, consists of a seven-course spread that features tasting portions of dishes such as, garlic edamame, salmon ceviche, yellowtail carpaccio, and sake sushi. The bento boxes, which are basically meal boxes, come filled with hot and cold appetisers, sushi, mains, and a dessert.

BKC-based Santé Spa Cuisine, a crowd-favourite spot in the city for healthy yet indulgent eats, has an all-new vegetarian and vegan-friendly menu that promises an explosion of flavours and textures. It includes a lineup of Asian, Middle-Eastern and a few other international cuisine-inspired dishes including khao suey with soba noodles, falafel burger, roasted pumpkin soup, black bean and organic quinoa burger, black rice and avocado sushi, ragi base pizzas, and spicy Korean tofu bao.

In the mood for an indulgent brunch? Kickstart your Sunday with one at the 145 The Mill in Kamala Mills. You can end your brunch with chef's special Fernandes Rocher, a dessert featuring chocolate mousse, liquid salted caramel, praline, and chocolate hazelnut coating, or a panna cota.
