4. Cafe Mondegar
Started in 1932 as an Irani cafe, Cafe Mondegar is as iconic as it gets. Close to the Gateway Of India, Cafe Mondegar was first started as a cafe in a hotel housed in the same building. Some years later, the cafe introduced a jukebox setting, making it the first in Mumbai to do so. When it got refurbished in the 1990s, Cafe Mondegar came back with iconic cartoonist Mario Miranda's murals on its walls.
