7. Queen Charlotte

A prequel spin off to Bridgerton and loosely based on the rise of Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, this web series is set in two timelines, one after the death of her only grandchild in 1814 and another of her 17- year old self being married and brought to Europe. From the moment the series begins, you will fall in love with the characters, the seamless and multi dimensional portrayal of all the previous characters of Bridgerton, and a truly insightful exploration of King George's mental health issues and battle with social anxiety. Not to give any spoilers but even the character, Brimsely, you might not have thought twice about in the previous seasons will make you bawl your eyes out. So, hands down this is one of the best romantic web series of all time.
