This year has a lot of long weekends, and if you aren’t able to travel, there’s got to be something to keep you from doing the same old chores and getting bored. This year, 2023, includes a tonne of new releases, including movies, TV shows, and already popular shows with fresh seasons.
With Farzi, a series by Raj & DK, Shahid Kapoor makes his online debut. The directing team is also planning to release Guns & Gulaabs, a black action comedy starring Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, and Gulshan Devaiah. Along with fresh seasons, popular shows like Rocket Boys, Scam, and others are back. Pathaan is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly anticipated OTT releases, despite the fact that we are unsure of which platform will get the rights to the film starring Shah Rukh Khan.
1. Farzi
Alongside the megastar Vijay Sethupati, Shahid Kapoor is prepared to make his OTT platform debut with this new crime-thriller series. On January 16, the day of Vijay Sethupati's birthday, a trailer for the series was released. This is definitely one of the most anticipated new OTT releases In the series, Vijay plays the role of Michael, a cop on the hunt for Sunny, the con artist played by Shahid Kapoor. The eight-part crime thriller series will be told from the viewpoint of a cunning underdog street artist who is on the prowl for the elite-favouring system.

2. Guns & Gulaabs
A new Hindi crime series called Guns & Gulaabs will debut in February 2023. It features stars like Gulshan Devaiah, Adarsh Gourav, Dulquer Salmaan, and Rajkummar Rao. Misfits of the World, a crime thriller from the 1990s, is thought to have served as its inspiration. It will also have aspects of dry humour and love. This multi-starrer series is definitely one of the most anticipated releases of this year.

3. Mirzapur season 3
The third season of the eagerly anticipated web series Mirzapur will be the last one. Soon this year, it will make its Amazon Prime Video debut. However, the team and the cast predict that this season will be more interesting than the previous ones. All Mirzapur fans are waiting eagerly for this new OTT release.

4. Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein season 2
The audience has already given season 1 of the web series Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein positive reviews. As a result, the sequel season, which fans have been waiting for, will debut this year. Shweta Tripathi, Arunoday Singh, and Tahir Raj Bhasin are the main actors in this programme.

6. Dahaad
Dahaad is a serial murderer drama set in a small village and features Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Sha in significant parts. The programme focuses on a female police officer's (Sinha's) inquiries into a crime that horrifies and confounds her. Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar are behind creating one of the most anticipated releases of 2023.

7. Made in Heaven season 2
The second season of Made in Heaven, which finished filming in 2022, is finally anticipated to be released this year, following significant delays brought on by the epidemic. This time, the wedding planning adventures of Tara (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Karan (Arjun Mathur) will take place across international borders and include more extravagant nuptials, family dramas, interpersonal problems, and social storylines. A brief teaser for the new season was released in April of last year as part of Prime Video's announcement of upcoming releases.

9. Scam 2003 – The Telgi Story
A follow-up to 2020's Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, in which the story of Abdul Karim Telgi, an Indian counterfeiter who had been found guilty, is told. He was in charge of providing stock brokerages, banks, and insurance companies with counterfeit stamp papers for bulk purchases. The programme is based on the book Reporter ki Diary by Sanjay Singh, a journalist who broke the tale of the scam, which is thought to have cost more than $1.3 billion.

10. Paatal Lok season 2
A second season of Paatal Lok was announced in April 2022 following the airing of the show's critically praised first season in 2020. Hathiram Chaudhary (Jaideep Ahlawat) will confront yet another hurdle after the risky and heartbreaking case he solved in season 1 that will send him back into the underbelly of the nation.
