New validity period- The South Korea visa waiver was originally set to expire at the end of 2025, which has now been extended for another six months. The South Korea travel visa is now valid until June 30, 2026.
Group requirements- The waiver applies to organised groups of 5 or more people. Applications must be submitted through government-accredited travel agencies rather than individuals applying directly at consulates. Additionally, the group must travel via the same flight and follow an identical itinerary.
Financial impact- The standard processing fee for the C-3-2 (Short-term Group Tourism) visa is waived. Travellers save approximately 18,000 KRW.

Who qualifies?
To qualify for the 2026 fee waiver, travellers must be a part of an organised group of at least five individuals from India, Cambodia, China, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. These groups must arrive and depart South Korea on the same flight with an identical itinerary, applying for the C-3-2 or the Short-term Group Tourist visa exclusively through government-accredited travel agencies.
