In a move that aims to boost bilateral trade, relations, and tourism, it was just announced that Indian passport holders will now get a Philippines visa free entry. This new policy of the Philippines tourist visa for Indians will be applicable post-May 2025, enabling great flexibility for your travel plans to the Southeast Asian country. There are a few key conditions for the visa free entry Philippines offers, that you must check before you book your tickets.
- Basic conditions for a tourist visa still apply. The Philippines tourist visa for Indians isn’t completely unchecked. You must have a valid passport with at least six months beyond the date of arrival, proof of your hotel reservations, proof of sufficient funds to support your stay, and your return ticket must be booked too.
- This is a Philippines visa free entry only for 14 days, if your trip exceeds that, you’ll have to undergo the routine process. An exception, however, exists for Indian passport holders living in the EU, North America, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and the UK, as they are eligible for an extended 30-day stay.
- If you’re not planning to travel for leisure but for work, you might not get the same visa free entry Philippines travellers will, but your process will get easier and smoother now. For any other purposes apart from travel, you can opt for an E-Visa, cutting time on the hassle of the routine application processes.

6. Boracay
