1. Explore the royal hallways of Moti Mahal
Moti Mahal is the best place to include in your Nathdwara sightseeing. The official residence of the Royal Family of Nathdwara, Moti Mahal also houses the Shrinathji temple on its grounds. A perfect balance of religious and historical significance, this monument is a must-visit.

2. Visit the Shrinathji Temple
Of all the temples in Nathdwara, this temple is the most revered. The people of Nathdwara believe in Lord Shrinath with all their hearts and consider him to be the presiding divine being on every occasion. It is believed that the idol in the temple today once resided in Mathura, having been brought to Rajasthan in the 17th century. Visit the temple during festivals like Holi or Diwali to experience the full glory of this sacred temple.

3. Visit the Statue of Belief
One of the biggest of all Nathdwara’s attractions, the Statue of Belief, or ‘Vishwas Swaroopam,’ as it is also called, this magnificent statue is the biggest statue of Lord Shiva in the world. Thus, many devotees visit the statute in awe and devotion. The larger-than-life statue is the crown jewel of Nathdwara and sees heavy footfall all year round.

4. Step back in time by visiting the Eklingji Temple Complex
Nathdwara sightseeing is incomplete until you visit the Eklingji Temple Complex. A massive complex which includes 108 temples, this historic monument should be a compulsory stop on your Nathdwara itinerary. Though the main temple is dedicated to Lord Eklingji, a form of Lord Shiva, other temples have been dedicated to the Sun God, Goddess Durga and more deities.

5. Visit Haldighati to witness the proof of the Rajputana valour
Of all the places near Nathdwara, Haldighati is hands down one of the most culturally significant places. This is the battlefield where the brave Rajput warrior Maharana Pratap squared off against the Mughal ruler, Emperor Akbar. Now, the historic ground houses a museum dedicated to the bravery of Maharana Pratap.

6. Visit the Nandsamand dam
