Inside Dubai’s Newest Icon - Atlantis The Royal

The ultra-luxury resort was launched recently, and the extravaganza was led by the likes of Beyoncé and Kendall Jenner.

Atlantis The Royal, an ultra-luxury resort set on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, was recently unveiled to the world. The launch event was a three-day extravaganza, and it was marked by an unforgettable performance by the global music icon Beyoncé. It was an invite-only event and in attendance were the who's who of the international entertainment, business, and media scene including, Kendall Jenner, Rebel Wilson, Ellen Pompeo, Liam Payne, Sonia Kruger. There were several Indian celebrities present at the launch including Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, Gauri Khan, Farah Khan, and Falguni and Shane Peacock.

The grand performance by Queen Bey at the Atlantis The Royal Dubai was her first live show after 2018. She opened with a melodious rendition of 'At Last', an Etta James' classic, and followed it up with some of her most famous hits including 'Countdown', 'Ave Maria', 'Halo' and 'Crazy in Love'. The global sensation was accompanied by Firdaus, a 48-member all-female orchestra, mentored by none other than the legendary music composer AR Rahman.

Apart from Beyoncé, several other artists like The Mayyas and the winners of America's Got Talent, performed on the opening night. Their acts were choreographed by Emmy-nominated American dancer Fatima Robinson. There was also a fireworks show based on the beats of the electronic house music group Swedish House Mafia.

Atlantis The Royal in Dubai is one of the most-talked-about ultra-luxury resorts and it is set to open for the public on February 10, 2023.

Expected to become one of the most iconic landmarks of Dubai, this resort has been designed by some of the world's leading designers, architects and artists. Its interiors are brimming with mindboggling pieces of art, including this sculpture called Droplets, made using over five tons of stainless steel.

Atlantis The Royal is a 43-storey structure that enjoys infinite views of the Arabian Sea and Palm Island. The stay options here include an array of rooms, suites, and signature penthouses - all equipped with luxury amenities and stylish interiors.

The resort is going to offer world-class dining options, spearheaded by eight decorated culinary masterminds from across the globe, including Nobu by world-famous chef Nobu Matsuhisa. For those wanting fun and adventure, they've created the world's largest waterpark with 105 record-breaking slides, attractions, and experiences.

For wellness seekers, they are set to offer unique holistic spa therapies and treatments fused with modern technology. Guests can also expect a meditation pavilion, hammam sensorium, personal styling salons, an aesthetic wellness clinic, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre.
