Best time to visit Jodhpur
Jodhpur is best visited in the winter, from October to March, when the weather is comfortable and conducive to seeing the city's attractions. This time of year has temperatures that are suitable for outdoor activities and tourism, ranging from 10°C to 25°C. Numerous festivals and cultural occasions, such as the well-known Marwar Festival, which highlights the lively Rajasthani culture, also take place around this time.
Avoid the sweltering summers from April through June when temperatures can climb beyond 40°C, making outdoor activities difficult. Even though there may be some rain during the monsoon season, which lasts from July to September, the city's splendour is accentuated by the lush foliage. Checking for potential disruptions caused by heavy rain is advised.
How to get there
