About Devkund waterfall
One of Maharashtra’s most mesmerizing natural wonders, the Devkund waterfall is a secluded plunge waterfall that is nestled deep within the forests near Bhira village in the Raigad district. Forming a part of the Kundalika River, and lying at the confluence of three water streams is how this waterfall gets its name, that literally translates to ‘Divine Pond”.
Surrounded by dense jungles of the Western Ghats, and guarded by tall, rugged cliffs, Devkund feels right out of a postcard. The waterfall descends from a height of approximately 80 feet into a crystal clear natural pool below, creating a turquoise-blue basin that seems to glow, especially after the monsoon rains.

How to reach Devkund waterfall?
Start your journey from the Bhira village, which lies at a distance of approximately 40 km from Khalapur on the Mumbai-Pune highway. This makes for the official starting point for the Devkund waterfall trek.
You can reach Bhira via train or road. The nearest railway stations are Karjat and Panvel, from there you can opt for a shared taxi or auto ride to Bhira.
Trekking to Devkund
