Add to that some of the best trekking routes and skiing and you have the perfect holiday destination for adventure lovers, honeymooners and solo travellers. No wonder it’s often described as heaven on earth.

Here are some of the best resorts that will take your Kashmir vacation a notch higher.

1. The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa, Gulmarg

5. Sukoon House boat

Staying in a house boat in Kashmir is the dreamiest of all Kashmiri experiences.
