Ingredients For Moonglet Recipe

  • For Moonglet

    • 1/2 cup soaked split yellow lentils

    • 1 tbsp rice flour

    • water of soaked lentils

    • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

    • 1 tsp garam masala powder

    • 1 tsp turmeric powder

    • 1 tsp red chilli powder

    • 2 tbsp chopped onions

    • 1 tbsp chopped capsicum

    • 1 tbsp chopped tomatoes

    • 1/2 tsp fruit salt

    • water as required

    • 2-3 tbsp oil

    • 1 tbsp butter

  • For granish

    • chopped coriander leaves

    • chaat masala

How to make Moonglet Recipe?

  1. In a mixer jar, grind together soaked split yellow moong dal and rice flour with a little bit of water of soaked lentils to make a smooth batter.
  2. Remove this batter in a bowl and add ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix well. Next add chopped onions, chopped capsicum, chopped tomatoes, fruit salt and water and mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and pour and spread the moonglet batter over it.
  4. Cover the pan and cook the moonglet for 5-6 minutes. Cut the moonglet in half and put some butter on it.
  5. Transfer moonglet to a plate, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and chaat masala and serve hot.
