Here’s how to prepare simple beetroot pachadi recipe in a few easy steps

You will require the following beetroot pachadi ingredients to prepare beetroot pachadi for rice at home:

  1. 1 beetroot, peeled and grated
  2. 1 cup curd
  3. ½ cup fresh coconut
  4. 2 green chillies
  5. 1 sprig curry leaves
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  8. 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  9. 1 tbsp coconut oil

Follow the given steps to prepare beetroot pachadi Andhra style: 

  1. To prepare beetroot pachadi recipe, grind the coconut, along with the green chillies and cumin seeds into a smooth paste by adding water.
  2. Now cook the beetroot in a pan along with a little bit of water and salt for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Add in the beetroot pachadi masala that you had prepared and mix well with the cooked beetroots. Cook this for about 2 minutes. 
  4. Put off the flame and add in the beaten curd and mix well.
  5. Make the tempering for beetroot pachadi by heating oil in a pan and then add in the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves. 
  6. Pour the tempering over the beetroot pachadi and mix well. 
  7. Serve with rice.
