In the capital, the weekend is looking particularly exciting, with food, drinks, markets, comedy events and more. Here are the things to do in Delhi this weekend:
1. Thai Food Festival, Pullman New Delhi Aerocity
With the intention to bring to life the very essence of Thailand, Pullman New Delhi Aerocity has introduced a specially curated Thai menu. The ‘Thai Food Festival’ is a 10-day festival of authentic Thai dishes by renowned Chef Vina from Thailand. The menu includes appetising dishes like pad med mamuang, pad Thai noodle, gaeng kiew waan, rak baw kab naphung sos and thaptim krop.

2. Petgala
Said to be Delhi NCR’s biggest pet gathering, Petgala is happening in Noida where the event includes an adoption drive, which aims to provide as many cats and dogs as possible with a home where they are cared for, welcomed, and wanted. The event will have a host of activities for pet lovers like a pet fashion show, interactive games, obedience training demonstrations, security dog demonstrations, aquarium setup, vet consultations etc.

3. Stand-up comedy by Varun Thakur
Witness an hour full of the most hilarious stories by comedian, Varun Thakur. Thakur comes to the city for an hour-long special titled, Space Cadet. He is known for his self-deprecatory humour. The event promises to be a mix of funny anecdotes and observational comedy.

4. Red Fort sound & light show
The much-awaited light and sound show at Red Fort is open to the public. Titled ‘Jai Hind’, this is a dramatic retelling of India’s story from ancient history to the modern day. Using all forms of performance art - projection mapping, live-action films, light, and immersive sound, actors, dancers, and puppets - it brings to life key episodes from India’s history, the rise of the Marathas, the 1857 War of Independence, the rise of the Indian National Army and India’s continuing progress over the past 75 years.
