Thailand is a bucket list tourist destination that seemingly persuades every traveller to catch its sight. While this tropical paradise has always been a go-to place for Indian travellers, it has become a step easier for them to explore it now. How, you wonder? Soon after Sri Lanka, Thailand's prime minister, Srettha Thavisin, announced visa-free entry to Indian and Taiwanese tourists, for a period of six months from November 10, 2023 to May 10, 2024. Interesting, isn’t it? Travelling to Thailand is getting easier for us, what more one can ask. All set to jet-off to your favourite beachy vacation? If not, do plan it soon!

Taiwanese and Indian travellers are permitted 30 days of entry into Thailand. This implies that before leaving Thailand for a continuous 30-day visit, citizens of these nations can enjoy its stunning natural surroundings, extensive historical legacy, mouthwatering Thai cuisine, and dynamic culture.

Looking at some tourism statistics with almost 3 million arrivals, Malaysians have been the biggest wave of tourists this year, according to data from the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Chinese tourists, who accounted for 2.65 million arrivals by October 15, trail closely behind them. This year's tourism figures in Thailand were also heavily influenced by South Koreans and Indians. An even greater number of individuals can now take advantage of their vacations in this Southeast Asian treasure thanks to the temporary removal of visa requirements for citizens of Taiwan and India.

It is important to note that Thailand is not the only nation that allows Indians to enter without a visa. Additionally, earlier this month, Sri Lanka revealed that visitors from Thailand, India, China, Russia, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, and China are eligible to enter the nation without a visa until.
