If you're wondering what Koffee With Karan airs on which channel, you should get a Disney Plus Hotstar subscription because the show’s eighth season is now streaming there. The Dharma Productions owner began his chat show called Koffee with Karan in 2004, and seven seasons have aired since then.

It was unanimously felt that season 7 lacked the spicy and colourful flavour that distinguishes the show, but Karan Johar is back with season 8, which looks promising. If you love to be updated about B-Town gossip, there's nothing better than Koffee With Karan. Here's everything about Koffee With Karan season 8, from what makes it different from the previous season to things we can expect in the coming episodes.

Everything about Koffee with Karan Season 8

A revamped set is one of the foremost things prominently visible about Koffee with Karan season 8. The Koffee with Karan new season is here, and Disney+ Hotstar shared a video of the show’s set just days before its premiere, where we see the iconic Koffee With Karan welcome sign, some behind-the-scenes pictures, the new white couch with black graffiti on it featuring words and phrases such as spill the beans, GOAT (greatest of all time), wreck, and blah. We also get a glimpse of the coveted Koffee hamper packed in all its aesthetic glory in shades of green and black. Like always, the set's decor, design, and lighting make it look colourful, warm, and cosy enough for celebrity guests to sip their coffee and brew exciting conversations.

While we’ve all loved, laughed, and enjoyed the previous seasons of KWK, it has been felt that the last season, season 7, was comparatively less controversial or exciting in that sense. Karan Johar himself is seen trolling the previous season in his KWK Season 8 promotion video. He calls the previous season ‘meh’ and says in a self-trolling way that it could have been called 'Kold Koffee With Karan'.
Several noted celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Aamir Kham, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Akshay Kumar were Koffee With Karan guests in season 7. Season 7 of Koffee With Karan also differed from the previous seasons regarding the number of episodes. Usually, the show has approximately 20-25 episodes, but in the seventh season, there were only 13 episodes.

While announcing the Koffee With Karan Season 8, KJo said that his ‘Konscience’ felt he could have done in Season 7, but he is brewing a sensational season 8. He said this season will move beyond the discussions on airport looks, hook-ups, and casual chit-chats and will be more meaningful and deeper. He promises unfiltered conversations with celebrity grandkids, newly-wed couples, cricketers, etc. So far, the episodes featuring Ranveer-Deepika, the Deol brothers, and Ananya-Sara have been well-received and enjoyed by viewers.

Stars like Deepika-Ranveer, Sara-Ananya, Sunny-Bobby, and Kareena-Alia have already graced the Koffee couch this season. Koffee With Karan Season 8 is reportedly all set to host celebrities like Parineeti Chopra, Suhana Khan, Shehnaaz Gill, Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan, Allu Arjun, Rishabh Shetty, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty. New episodes of Koffee With Karan air every Thursday on Disney Plus Hostar at 12 am.

Karan Johar is one of the most prominent faces of Bollywood and has given us classic movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Student of the Year. His talk show Koffee With Karan is a people’s favourite not just because of all the B-Town secrets it unravels but also because of KJo’s very appealing, well-worded, witty, and humorous monologues at the show's beginning. Karan began the eighth season of KWK, promising to show us the real, authentic versions of renowned celebrities. Koffee With Karan Season 8 is all about being authentic and unfiltered in brewing conversations, and KJo said he’ll acquaint us with faces who have never before graced the couch.

In the three episodes that aired till 10th November 2023, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol, and Sara Ali Khan-Ananya Panday visited KWK. Ranveer Singh in Koffee With Karan was a delight to watch - he and Deepika discussed their romantic relationship, showed us a glimpse of their very private yet beautiful wedding, and addressed mental health. The episode featuring the Deol brothers unravelled the Deol family dynamics and discussed industry success and failure. The third episode with the new Bollywood BFFs, Sara, and Ananya, was wholesome in its own way, with the young actresses talking about work, relationships, and everything in between. The fourth episode features Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt and aired on 17th November.
