The Jaisalmer Desert Festival 2025 will also host a number of competitions such as the turban-tying competition, the graceful Ghoomar dance, as well as mustache competition, along with the much acclaimed camel polo match as a part of the Camel festival, Jaisalmer.
Furthermore, the Indian Air Force is also expected to perform their air warrior drills, adding an exhilarating edge to the festivities of the event.

The Jaisalmer Desert Festival is especially made significant through its various traditional and cultural events. From fun puppet shows, to events showcasing the folk music of the region like the Manganiar and Langas, the festival in Jaisalmer also features dance performances such as the Kalbelia and Ghoomar. Along with the cultural events at the Maru Mahotsav there are also juggling events, camel polo matches and camel races as a part of the Camel festival, Jaisalmer.

The Maru Mahotsav 2025 will feature a standout activity this year with the Astro Tourism event. With a unique offering, by the name ‘The Skies of Jaisalmer’, this event will feature astronomy workshops, stargazing sessions and much more.
