Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is known to have the best figure among many B-town actresses, not only netizens but even Heart Of Stone actress Alia Bhatt has a dream to own a body like the Piku actor. During a Koffee With Karan episode, host Karan asked Alia in the rapid fire round what is one aspect of Deepika's life she would want to borrow. Alia immediately responded, "It will be Deepika's body, legs, and height." Isn’t it crazy how people admire her body? It is right! But how does she manage to elegantly sculpt her body?

Well, fitness is nothing new for the Pathaan actress. The supermodel has grown up in the family of a sportsman, her father — Mr Prakash Padukone was an international Badminton player.  This is why she always promotes a healthy lifestyle both on and off the screen. She follows some of the best workout regimens that includes yoga, pilates, rope training, and a variety of other movement techniques that are tailored for her by the trainers. So, let’s follow the star's lead and discover how important it is to balance nutrition and exercise.

No doubt to create a rock-solid toned body, more than a few planks are needed. However, if you want to give your body some definition, include yoga in your training regimen. Deepika reportedly practiced a lot of yoga, particularly Chakrasana and Malasana — to tone in some abs for her role in Gehraiyaan, and as we have seen, she aced it with such elegance.

The practice of yoga has its roots about 5,000 years ago in India. Its origins can be found in the Sanskrit root word "yuj," which means "to join," "to yoke," or "to unite." The Rig Veda is where it was originally stated. This is why Yoga is a method of achieving spiritual harmony between the body and the mind.

Variability is essential in a balanced training regimen. The body has multiple planes of motion, and in order to properly develop our bodies, it is imperative to exercise mobility of every body part. You can accomplish that with the help of battle ropes, a special piece of gear.

Earlier, only football players and martial artists used this method of exercising, but nowadays rope training has become one of the most popular forms of exercise among actors and fitness freaks. Yasmin Karachiwala, a celebrity trainer, is frequently spotted uploading footage of celebrities practicing battle rope workouts. She once posted a video of Deepika's 6:00 am workout in which she was seen enjoying a rope workout. The activity has many benefits, ranging from burning calories and toning muscles to inducing strength and endurance.

Apart from Yoga and Rope training, Padukone also practices pilates which involves a range of workouts that enhance general posture while strengthening and toning the entire body. Over 600 exercises make up traditional Pilates, and each one has adjustments and variations which not only help sculpt the body, increase stability and mobility but also burn calories, and strengthen the core.

Deepika is a religious Pilates practitioner, she has been spotted performing it with famous celebrity trainers like Anshuka Parwani and Yasmin Karachiwala. Also she manages to do pilates with her industry colleagues such as Alia, Ananya, Sara and Katrina.

Along with focusing on fitness it is very important to have realistic goals. When it comes to exercising, Padukone keeps things reasonable because pushing your body over a certain point can be counterproductive. She proves that giving the body time to relax is essential for developing a long-lasting and healthy body.
