An ingenious turn of events begins the plot: Nam Ja-yeon, Son Hae-young's younger sister, is a webtoon writer who effortlessly shrugs off internet trolls. However, she comes across an especially hurtful remark that is all too personal one day. Rather than brush it off, she chooses to prosecute the troll, who happens to be Bok Gyu-hyun, her sister's employer. Though Gyu-hyun is only familiar with her pen name, Yeon Bo-ra, he feels compelled to send an apology letter out of remorse. But Ja-yeon isn't prepared to forgive since the agony it caused is still fresh in her mind. She expresses her desire for vengeance by saying she would prefer it if Gyu-hyun were dead. After Gyu-hyun's (almost) disastrous effort to retrieve the lost letter ends in an accident, Ja-yeon passes out from the pressure of her remarks. When she awakens in a hospital, it's not as Ja-yeon, but as Seo Yeon-soo, the female protagonist of her webtoon. Things go increasingly stranger from there.
