Friday Night Plan would be Babil’s second film after his debut, all set to release on September 1. The story is about two brothers who attend a happening school party after their mother takes off on a business trip. What follows thereafter as per the trailer is probably a series of misadventures that then take place. Just the right movie to begin your month with, this film is sure to be a light-hearted, entertaining watch.

The Wheel Of Time is a fantasy television series that revolves around the story of a magical organisation and its member, Moraine who takes five people along on a journey with the belief that one of them is the reincarnation of the Dragon and a powerful individual who is predicted to either save or destroy the world. The second season of the series is all set to release on September 1 on Prime Video. With the serpentine wheels (of time) revolving, fans cannot wait for the sequel to finally release.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is back in an all-new avatar with Zee5’s Haddi, releasing on September 7.  Directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma, Haddi is a crime vengeance drama, where Nawazuddin plays the role of a transgender rookie who joins a gang of transgenders and rises at the top of a criminal chain. Fans are in awe and cannot wait to watch Nawaz in this new image. The Hindi cult film director, with his recent directorial screened at Cannes, Anurag Kashyap also plays a part opposite Nawauddin. With the bone-chilling trailer of the film being out, all film lovers are counting the days until the release of this Nawazuddin Siddiqui vs. Anurag Kashyap revenge saga.

4. Scam 2003: The Telgi Story

After the universally loved Scam 1992, Scam 2003: The Telgi Story is about to release on September 1, on Sony Liv. With the gifted director Hansal Mehta as the showrunner, and Tushar Hirananadi as the director, Scam 2003: The Telgi Story is a biographical financial thriller based on the life of Abdul Karim Telgi, who was the mastermind behind the 2003 counterfeit stamp paper racket. This show is definitely a must-watch if you are a fan of the previous adaptation.

Netflix’s hilarious and heartfelt coming-of-age comedy series is back with a fourth season, releasing on September 21. Dealing with topics of sexuality, relationships, decision-making, gender identity, communication and a lot more, Sex Education is definitely bold in its approach. This is the final season of the series and is most surely to have the greatest plot twist.
