What to do: Take a stroll around the walls for at least half an hour to see the vistas of the town's sea of terracotta roofs, Lokrum island, the Adriatic, and the gardens and terraces of the homes below.
Journey around the world of Game of Thrones
Why: For every Game of Thrones fan, visiting Croatia is a ritual! Explore the picturesque essence of King's Landing in Dubrovnik and visit Sibenik and Zagreb to see the iconic locations from the hit HBO show. Now this is one of the best things to see in Croatia!
What to do: Head on to Sibenik! The Iron Bank of Braavos, shown in Game of Thrones, was the Sibenik Cathedral. Further sections of the city are shown as well. The program purportedly drew inspiration for one of its plots from Sibenik! Seventy-one carved stone faces adorn the Cathedral. Various expressions are shown by each one as they make their way around the structure. In the 15th century, the people shown were just regular people from Šibenik. The sight of them will bring to mind the terrifying Hall of Faces from Game of Thrones' fifth season the moment.
Explore the wonders of national parks in Croatia
Why: There are eight national parks in Croatia, which could surprise you. Located in the "shadow" of the Croatian coast and islands, these parks remain relatively unknown. Exploring the parks is truly one of the top things to do in Croatia!

Why: Mljet, which is often visited as a day trip from Korčula or Dubrovnik, is worth taking your time to explore, particularly its national park, since it is verdant and beautiful.
What to do: Spanning over one-third of the island, the park is characterised by two saltwater lakes surrounded by pathways shaded by pine trees, providing an abundance of swimming spots. Ascend 256 meters (840 feet) to Montokuc for breathtaking vistas and the refreshing aroma of Aleppo pines as you take in the fresh air. Truly one of the best things to do in Croatia!
