Costa da Caparica
Costa da Caparica is a beachfront paradise perfect for a weekend getaway, and it's close to the exciting city of Lisbon. Several distinct areas of the beach contribute to its overall attractiveness. Some places are excellent for picnics because they are suitable for families and have calm, beautiful seas with few other people. Bars with chilled beverages, dance floors, and music are located in different sections for the younger demographic.

At the Barbarella Place, you can find a wide variety of tasty foods, such as Arroz de Marisco, Arroz de Pato, and Polvo a Lagareiro. Telha Fonte
Lisbon families go to Costa da Caparica for day vacations to swim and sunbathe as soon as the weather gets nice. The question is, which of the nearly twenty miles of sandy shore is the best? Fonte da Telha is about half an hour's drive from the city centre; it was once a fishing town and is now one of the best family beaches in Lisbon, known as a well-kept secret among locals (public transportation does not go there).

That doesn't mean it isn't worth a visit; the wealthy neighbourhood was formerly a fishing hamlet and the vacation home of Portuguese aristocracy; the neighbourhood still has its gorgeous traditional residences and cobblestone alleys. Centrally located in Cascais, the Praia de Ribeira beach was formerly the primary fishing beach and the spot where boats were unloaded and parked.
The boats are still there, but now the beaches are for people to relax on and swim in the calm seas. This beach is one of the most popular in the area, so avoid it if you're in Cascais on a summer weekend. Instead, explore the town, have lunch at one of the many excellent restaurants, and then locate a quieter bay to relax in. It is one of the best beaches in Lisbon for first time tourists!
Adraga
