Statue of Unity

The Statue of Unity, designed by noted Indian sculptor Ram V. Sutar, is a massive homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, also known as Iron Man of India —  a pivotal contributor in the country's war for independence. This is the tallest statue in India in fact the entire world, rising to a startling 600 feet (182 metres).

Preached at the top of Narmada River, the statue not only showcases statesmanship but also exclamets as a symbol of national integration. The complex of the statue covers the swappling area of 20,000 square metres which is surrounded by a 12 square kilometre of lake.

Statue of Equality

The second tallest statue in India Statue Of Equality in Hyderabad is dedicated to Ramanuja Acharya — A revered philosopher and theologian of the Bhakti movement. With the giant structure the 216 tall statue conveys the teaching of equality, love and social justice. Made of Panchaloha — a mix of five metals silver, copper, gold, brass and zinc, Ramanujacharya statue is one of the tallest metallic statues in the world, mounted on a 54 feet base height building known as Bhadra Vedi.

The monument fosters a sense of harmony in society by inviting visitors to contemplate on the timeless values of compassion and inclusivity. It has dedicated space exhibiting work of Ramanujacharya, this includes Vedic digital library and research centre, an educational gallery and a theatre.  

Adiyogi Shiva Statue

Located inside the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, the Adiyogi Shiva Statue is a work of art that defies preconceived ideas about spirituality and art. The 112-foot-tall monument, designed by Sadhguru, depicts Lord Shiva as the first yogi, or Adiyogi. Presently, it represents metamorphosis and the science of internal health, beckoning individuals from diverse backgrounds to delve into the age-old practices of yoga and meditation in the modern era.

The statue took 2.5 years to complete, involving more than 600 sculptors and craftspeople. In Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, it was formally inaugurated by Narendra Modi in 2017. The statue weighs about 500 tons and is constructed of steel. It is encircled by water and rests on a platform composed of 12,000 cubic metres of concrete. The monument is designed to withstand inclement weather and natural disasters. Rich vegetation and the Velliangiri hills encircle this impressive structure, adding to the area's allure.

Tathagata Tsal

Marking the 2550th birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha, Tathagata Tsal (Buddha Park)  is tucked away in Ravangla Ridge in Sikkim is home to a majestic statue of Lord Buddha. The 137 feet tall statue overlooks the picturesque landscape and the mountainous terrain. It serves as a serene pilgrimage site and a testament to Sikkim's commitment to Buddhism. The park, adorned with prayer wheels and stupas, provides a tranquil space for introspection and spiritual contemplation.

Statue of Belief 

Along the dunes of Rajasthan the 369 feet tall Statue of Belief stands as an architectural marvel dedicated to promoting religious tolerance and understanding in Nathdwara. The statue also known as Vishwas Swaroopam represents various faiths coexisting harmoniously, emphasising the importance of mutual respect and unity. It serves as a reminder that despite diverse religious beliefs, there exists a shared humanity that binds people together in a secular country like India.
