The Dhuandhar Falls is one of the most popular attractions of Jabalpur city. It is located in the Narmada river in Bhedaghat and is almost 10 metres in height. The Narmada river travels a great distance crossing other famous tourist attractions and then narrows down to take a plunge into the great falls known as the Dhuandhar Falls. The plunge that hits the bottom is said to be so powerful that it could be used to generate hydro energy for electric power plants. The sound of the water crashing is very loud and can be heard from a good distance, and all you can see is mist all around due to the pace of the waterfall. You can also try the ropeway on top of the waterfall which gives a panoramic view of the falls.  If you visit Jabalpur city, this is one place that you must keep on your itinerary for its breathtaking views.

The marble rocks are situated in Bhedaghat, on the banks of the Narmada river, at a distance of 25 km from the main city. You can take a boat ride from Panchavati Ghat to Bhedaghat while enjoying the beautiful views of the famous marble rocks. These marble rocks look like mountains of marble in different colours like green, blue and even pink. These marbles are a sight to behold and the ride along the river is a memory you will always keep.

This beautiful fort is nestled on top of a rocky hill and you can pretty much see the entire town and city from this point. You must visit the place during the sunset hour to enjoy the best panoramic views of the city being blanketed by the night sky. This fort was built by Raja Madan Shah who was a Gond ruler, in the year 1116 AD and still holds the same beauty as it did before.

The balancing rocks of Jabalpur city is one place that you must not miss! The rocks are the result of volcanic erosion and have survived hazardous earthquakes. The locals here have an undying belief that nothing can disbalance or move the rocks. Many people believe it to be because of supernatural or religious forces as well.

Constructed on the river Narmada, near Jabalpur city, the Bargi Dam is massive. It is used for irrigation and power generation projects, but it is also a popular tourist site. The backwaters of the dam have been turned into a lake where you can do boating and other water activities for fun. If you are visiting the dam, you can also stay the night in the gorgeous retreat resorts nearby.

It is located in Tigawa village which is about a two-hour drive from Jabalpur city. It also known as Tigawa temple, a Hindu temple enshrined by Kankali Devi. You will be taken aback by the brilliant pillar structure and architecture of this temple. The temple also houses idols of Chamunda Devi and Narasimha amongst others. This place is sure to give a feeling of calm.

Located close to the marble rocks and Dhuandhar Falls, this ghat is one of the most famous ghats in Jabalpur city. The ghat is lined with many temples and is very well maintained. The historic significance of the Tilwara ghat makes it a popular tourist attraction and a must visit place.

The Dumna Nature Reserve is an ecotourism site that is rich in flora and fauna and boasts a large variety of avian species. If you are a nature buff, you must visit this reserve. It also has a few fun activities like toy train rides along the reserve, fishing, swimming and boating among others. If you want to stay the night, the park also provides accommodations like tents and a nice resort which is a different experience altogether.
