Much awaited, and much loved Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s wedding was nothing short of dreamy. With matching outfits, the bride and groom looked spectacular, and as the actress shared on her social media accounts, small details of their relationship were quite beautifully woven into the outfits, making them even more special.
1. The wedding look
Sporting a matching Manish Malhotra ensemble, both Parineeti and Raghav looked right out of a fairytale. The actress wore a veil in addition to her lehenga dupatta which had Raghav written on it, and instantly won hearts. Parineeti also kept her makeup fresh and dewy which went perfectly with the day ceremony. Done by makeup artist Savleen Manchanda, and assisted by Anushka Jain, the makeup brought out the Parineeti’s best features. Unlike many traditional brides who opt for updos., Parineeti’s hair stylist, Priyanka S Borkar, assisted by Kesha Patel kept the hair sleek and simple.
The shoes for Parineeti Chopra’s wedding look were customised Fizzy Goblets and looked gorgeous with her Manish Malhotra lehenga. The actress also wore a customised chabhi challa inspired by her grandmother. Designed by Manish Malhotra, it featured charms made by Mrinalini Chandra depicting how the couple met over coffee in the city of London where they both studied, and the key elements of how their relationship bloomed.
2. Haldi ceremony
They say love makes you glow, and while turmeric might have added to it, Parineeti and Raghav were indeed glowing on their Haldi ceremony. The actress wore a gorgeous rani pink outfit by Faabiiana and went with oversized accessories. She chose to wear Jhaalar earrings from Fooljhadi, haathphool from Amama Jewels, and headband from Ishaara.
3. Chooda ceremony
While pink was for her haldi ceremony, for her chooda ceremony, Parineeti Chopra went for a bright yellow sunshine Manish Malhotra ensemble. Her chooda was customised by the biggest name in the field, Mrinalini Chandra. Instead of traditional red, the actress chose a baby pink set which went perfectly with her wedding ensemble too.
4. Cocktail celebrations
For cocktail celebrations after the wedding, Parineeti wore this ethereal Rosette blush crystal sequin saree by Manish Malhotra. As the designer disclosed, the idea initially was to for a red sequinned saree, but this happened, and with how stunning the colour looks on Parineeti, we’re glad it did. The actress paired the outfit with a beautiful uncut diamond and emerald choker from Manish Malhotra’s jewellery label.
5. Welcoming the bride home
Indian weddings are known to be a multi-day affair, and the Parineeti Raghav wedding was no different. The couple was warmly welcomed home, among banter and for this occasion, Parineeti Chopra went for a customised Manish Malhotra lime green outfit and matched that with Fizzy Goblet mules, which were also customised for the actress.
