One of the biggest awards nights in the year, the 82nd Golden Globes were held in Los Angeles over the weekend. Apart from the big winners at the stage, what also was much talked about were the red carpet appearances. Globes fashion has always been a mix of Hollywood glam and fun looks, and this year was no different. Here are the best red carpet looks from Golden Globes this year.
1. Zendaya
You know it, we know it. If Zendaya attends a red carpet, the list of the best red carpet looks for that evening will start with her. The Law Roach partnership has been a gamechanger for her red carpet looks in past few years, and this was no different. Wearing a custom copper-toned Louis Vuitton gown paired with Bvlgari jewellery, Zendaya also ended up fuelling the rumours of a possible engagement given that she was spotted wearing a stunning solitaire on her ring finger, but we are yet to hear a confirmation.
2. Selena Gomez
If we had to pick one word for Selena’s attire at the 82nd Golden Globes, we’d say Cinderella. In the same iconic blue shade as Cinderella’s Selena Gomez’s custom Prada gown was one of the most memorable red carpet dresses on Sunday evening. With two nominations to her name, and a recent engagement, Selena simply glowed in the stunning dress.
3. Demi Moore
Sharp, stunning, and oh so glamorous, Demi Moore’s custom Armani Prive gown was easily one the best red carpet looks at the Golden Globes this year. The actress kept her hair simply styled and open, and accessorised with Cartier earrings and bracelet to let the stunning gown take all the spotlight.
4. Anya Taylor Joy
Dressed in an archival blush Dior gown, Anya Taylor Joy was quite the vision. In what was one of the best red carpet looks at the 82nd Golden Globes, the British actress paired her slipdress-styled gown with a matching flower-embroidered shawl and a massive sculptural floral neckpiece from Tiffany’s.
5. Zoe Saldana
Another of the big winners at the 82nd Golden Globes for Best Supporting Female Actor – Motion Picture, Zoe Saldana wore a chocolate brown strapless dress by Saint Laurent, with a matching taffeta cape. The first time winner at the 82nd Golden Globes kept the styling simple with a chic updo, and let her Cartier necklace take all the spotlight.
6. Viola Davis
Trust Viola Davis to champion sustainability all while serving some of the best red carpet looks. The actress who was awarded the Cecil B. DeMille Award, an honorary Golden Globe Award this year, rewore her Gucci black sequined cape sleeved gown that she had previously worn at an award function in November 2024.
7. Rachel Brosnahan
The American actress wore what was simply one of the most memorable red carpet dresses at the 82nd Golden Globes. The emerald green Vivienne Westwood styled perfectly with silver Jimmy Choos screamed old world glamour, and we are here for it.
8. Zoe Kravitz
The festive season might be over, but Zoe’s outfit was a gift that kept on giving, quite literally! With a neatly tied massive bow at the back of her YSL gown, the actress looked oh so stunning. The sweetheart neckline, statement earrings, and sleek updo made it one of the most memorable red carpet looks at the Golden Globes this year.
9. Ariana Grande
Dressed in an yet unworn archival look from Hubert de Givenchy’s spring 1966 couture collection, Ariana Grande perfectly channelled Audrey Hepburn on one of the biggest award nights for her. At the 82nd Golden Globes, Grande earned her first Golden Globes nomination, making it even more special.
10. Glen Powell
Glen keeps it fun. Wearing a custom Georgio Armani, the actor kept the fun element alive with his cummerband, which went very well with his black velvet tuxedo jacket, and aviator sunglasses. Simple, and easy to execute, this was one of our favourites of Globes fashion when it comes to men.
11. Nicole Kidman
Soaking in the praise and love that her latest release Babygirl is getting, Nicole Kidman shined bright at the red carpet for Golden Globes. In a twisted backless Balenciaga gown, styled with a dramatic hairstyle, Nicole served perfect Hollywood glam!
12. Quinta Brunson
If there is a list of the most memorable red carpet looks for an award, you can be sure that Quinta Brunson will be on the list. The actress/comedian always keeps it classy and at the 82nd Golden Globes, her custom Roberto Cavalli stole the show. Given that velvet gown was encrusted all over, Quinta kept the accessories minimal, which we loved.
13. Andrew Garfield
Andrew Garfield was another of fun looks on the red carpet for Golden Globes. The actor who also presented an award at the 82nd Golden Globes broke the internet with his dark olive Gucci suit. Adding a subtle edge to his look were his reading glasses and the green stone in a gold pendant just had us drooling over the simple yet fun styling.
14. Fernanda Torres
The Golden Globes winner for Best Actress Drama, and Brazil’s second nomination ever, Fernanda Torres not only steal the light with her performance but also made it to the best red carpet looks at the award show with her sleek Olivier Theyskens dress. The black dress featured a thigh slit, and looked drop dead gorgeous.
15. Hiroyuki Sanada
Classy, and a winner! Quite literally as well. The Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series – Drama winner Hiroyuki Sanada looked suave in a Ralph Lauren suit, a bowtie, and his signature glasses. The Japanese actor’s look was very reminiscent of the old Hollywood glamour, and made its way right into the best of Globes fashion.
