    • 6 chopped tomatoes

    • 1 cup chopped pineapple

    • 100 ml tamarind juice

    • 1 tsp turmeric powder

    • 2 tsp chilli powder

    • 5 tbsp gingelly oil

    • 1 tsp mustard

    • 1 tsp urad dal

    • 1/2 tsp hing

    • 6 - 7 curry leaves

    • salt to taste

    Heat a pan and add chopped tomato and cook for 2 minutes.

    Add tamarind juice, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder and cook until the tomatoes turn soft.

    Add chopped pineapple, mix well and cook till the water has evaporated while stirring occasionally.

    In a tadka pan heat gingelly oil, urad dal, mustard seeds, hing and curry leaves.

    Add to thokku and serve!
