Ingredients For Navratan Achar Recipe

  • For Navratan Achar

    • 2 lemons

    • salt

    • 1 raw mango

    • 1 ½ cup sugar

    • ½ cup dry dates

    • ½ cup raisins

    • ½ cup cashews

    • ½ cup almonds

    • 2 tbsp pistachios

    • 2 tbsp watermelon seeds

    • 2 tbsp black raisins

    • 2 tbsp dry figs

    • 1 tbsp chopped dry coconut

    • 2 tbsp walnuts

    • 1 ½ tbsp roasted cumin powder

    • 1 tbsp red chilli powder

    • 2 tbsp tamarind pulp

    • 1 tbsp aamchur powder

How to make Navratan Achar Recipe?

  1. Cut lemons and raw mango in small pieces and put them in different bowls. Now mix the diced lemons and diced raw mango with salt and keep them in sun for 3-4 days to dry.
  2. In a pan, make a thick sugar syrup with sugar and water.
  3. Add dry dates and raisins and cook for some time. Now add cashews, almonds, pistachios and watermelon seeds and mix well.
  4. Next, add black raisins, dry figs, chopped dry coconut, and walnuts and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Then add, roasted cumin powder, tamarind pulp, aamchur powder and salted lemons and raw mango, stir and mix well.
  6. Navratan Achar is ready.
