Ingredients For Meetha Sev Recipe

  • For Meetha Sev

    • 2 cups besan

    • 1.5 cups jaggery (crumbled)

    • 2 tbsp oil for frying

    • ¼ tsp sauf powder

How to make Meetha Sev Recipe?

  1. Take 2 cups besan, pour 2 tbsp hot oil in it. Add water in small portions and make a soft dough.
  2. Grease your hands with oil and smoothen the dough. Cover and keep it aside for 15 to 20 minutes to rest.
  3. Take the sev making machine with mota sev jail. Grease the machine with oil.
  4. Take out the piston of the machine. Put the dough in it. Close the machine.
  5. Press out the dough in hot oil. Fry on both the sides till golden-brown in colour and remove on absorbent paper.
  6. Add 1 tsp ghee to the pan add 1 cup crumbled jaggery to it and melt it on low flame.
  7. Reduce flame. Break and put the sev in jaggery. Turn off flame. Stir and coat.
  8. Take out in a plate. Stir and let it cool. Separate the sev. Garnish with dried rose petals, silver dust, and sauf powder.
