Ingredients For Haldi ke Laddu Recipe

  • For Haldi Ke Laddu

    • 250 gm raw turmeric

    • 3-4 tbsp ghee

    • 20-25 almonds

    • 12-15 cashew nuts

    • 8-10 walnuts

    • 10-12 pistachios

    • 2 cups fox nuts

    • 1/4 cup melon seeds

    • 1 tbsp ghee

    • 250 gm jaggery

    • 1 tbsp water

    • 1-2 tbsp raisins

    • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut

    • melon seeds

    • 1 tbsp black pepper powder

    • cashew nuts for garnish

How to make Haldi ke Laddu Recipe?

  1. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan and add 250 gm grated raw turmeric. Cook until it reduces to 1/4th and the raw smell of turmeric goes off.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp ghee in another pan and fry 20-25 almonds, 12-15 cashew nuts, 8-10 walnuts, 10-12 pistachios, 2 cups fox nuts one by one and set aside.
  3. Dry roast melon seeds.
  4. In a pan, melt 250 gm jaggery in 1 tbsp water to make jaggery syrup.
  5. Grind the roasted dry fruits into a coarse powder.
  6. Grind the fox nuts separately and mix them into the dry fruit mixture.
  7. Add the powder and raisins to the jaggery syrup and mix properly.
  8. Add cooked raw turmeric mixture and mix well. Once the mixture cools slightly, add desiccated coconut, roasted melon seeds, black pepper powder and mix well.
  9. Make round smooth laddus and garnish with cashew nuts.
