Gud Gujiya is a crispy, flaky pastry filled with a sweet, nutty stuffing of jaggery and dry fruits. Gujiya (filled with khoya and nuts stuffing) is generally made during special occasions pujas or festivals. However, due the culinary influence of its two neighbouring states of Bihar and Bengal, gujiya is made with jaggery stuffing in Varanasi.

The crunchy, nutty and sweet Gud Gujiya is super delicious. You should make this scrumptious sweet a part of your food journey in Varanasi.
