INGREDIENTS

  • For Desi Chapati Noodles

    • 1 tbsp oil

    • ½ tsp chopped ginger

    • ½ tsp chopped garlic

    • 1 cup shredded cabbage

    • ¼ cup green capsicum

    • ¼ cup shredded carrot

    • ¼ cup red bell pepper

    • ¼ cup sliced onion

    • 1 tsp red chilli sauce

    • 1 tsp tomato ketchup

    • 1 tsp soy sauce

    • 1 tsp white vinegar

    • 1 cup chapati noodles

    • salt to taste

    • crushed black pepper

    • chopped spring onion greens

    • toasted white sesame seeds

PREPARATION

    Heat oil in a pan, add ginger, garlic and saute it for a minute. Now add cabbage, green capsicum, carrot, red bell pepper, onion and saute it for 2 minutes.

    Add red chilli sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar and saute it for a minute or so. Now add chapati noodles, salt and black pepper and saute it for a minute.

    Desi Chapati Noodles are ready to be served. Garnish it with spring onion greens and toasted white sesame seeds.

Desi Chapati Noodles is a snack made from leftover chapatis. Generally, all kids love noodles. So, here Chef Pankaj makes noodles from leftover chapatis (instead of regular noodles available in the market) and adds usual noodles ingredients like cabbage capsicum, carrots, bell peppers, spring onions and sauces such as red chilli sauce and soy sauce to it.
