INGREDIENTS
For the dough
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp carom seeds
salt to taste
1 tbsp ghee
1 cup water
For stuffing
1 tbsp ghee
1 tsp chopped ginger
2 chopped green chillies
1/2 cup moth beans
salt to taste
water as required
1 tbsp dry mango powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp chaat masala
oil for frying
PREPARATION
- In a parat, mix together all-purpose flour, carom seeds, salt, ghee and water and knead a dough. Cover the dough with a wet muslin cloth.

- For the stuffing, heat ghee in a pan and add chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, soaked moth beans, salt and water and cook till the dal softens.

- Next, add dry mango powder, coriander powder, garam masala and chaat masala to the dal moth, mix well and cook it till the mixture dries. Remove the mixture in a bowl.

- Divide the dough into equal portions and make round balls.

- Roll the balls into oval shape and cut into half.

- Take on part, make a cone, apply water on the edges, add stuffing and fold like a samosa.

- Make all samosas in the same way and fry them till crisp.

- Serve Dal Moth Samosas with tamarind chutney.
