Ingredients For Ukdiche Modak Aajis recipe Recipe

  • Rice flour

  • Jaggery

  • Grated dry coconut

  • Elaichi

  • Kesar

  • Pure ghee

  • Special ingredient is khas khas powder

How to make Ukdiche Modak Aajis recipe Recipe?

  1. Boil 4 glass of water
  2. Add rice flour to the boiling water
  3. Keep stirring until a nice dough forms
  4. Remove and let it cool
  5. Knead the dough with ghee and let it sit
  6. In a pan add ghee
  7. Add jaggery to it and melt it
  8. Add grated coconut, elaichi to it
  9. Mix it well and khas khas to it
  10. Let it cool a little
  11. Again knead a small amount of dough with ghee
  12. Make balls of dough, flatten the balls
  13. To the flattened dough put the filling of jaggery and make a dumpling
  14. It shouldn't be perfect you can make it of any shape but make sure the dough covers the filling and is sticked all together
  15. On the top of dumpling or modak put strands of kesar
  16. Boil water in a vessel and place a stainless steel seive on top of the vessel
  17. Arrange your dumplings with distance and cover the seive
  18. Give your modaks nice steam
  19. And your modaks are ready
