Sugar less Digestive biscuits/cookies 1 Bowl
Nuts Like Almonds/Walnuts/ Pistachio/Cashews ( coarse Grinded for1 bowl
Melted Butter 100 gms
Powdered Sugar1 tablespoon
Wheat floor 2 tablespoon
Sesame Seeds 1 tablespoon
Watermelon seeds / almonds/ Walnuts/ cranberries (Handful)
Roasted Semolina 1 cup
Castor sugar 1/2 cup
How to make Traditional Mediterranean Sesame Fudge Halva Recipe?
- First of all to make base grind the biscuits into fine crumbs and grind all nuts of your choice and mix with the biscuits. Now mix Powdered sugar and add melted butter and mix well.
- Spread parchment paper in baking tray, spread the mixture evenly. Freeze this mixture for about an hour. Bake for 15 minutes on medium heat at 180 degrees, until the batter is golden.
- First of all In a pan roast sesame seeds, Watermelon seeds, almonds, Walnuts. Grind it in a coarse powder.
- Now in another pan roast Wheat floor and mix all ingredients together including melted butter and powdered sugar, if required you can water too to adjust consistency
- Mix all together on low flame. Switch off the flame. And mix few dried cranberries and mix it gently
- Transfer the mixture in a bowl let it cool for few minutes. Spread it over the first layer and put it in fridge for about 2 hours.
- Take it out garnish it with nuts of your choice and bird nests. To decorate it with nests Take small portions enough for a nest in a bowl take roasted semolina, mix it with castor sugar and melted butter and shape these all portions just like nest and bake it till golden brown color.
- Let it cool at room temperature and fill it with nuts of your choice.
