Ingredients For Rice kheer Recipe

  • 4 cup full fat milk

  • 1/4 cup long grained rice

  • 1/4 tsp saffron

  • 1 tbsp milk

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds

  • 1 tbsp chopped cashew

  • 1 tbsp chopped pistachio

  • 1 tbsp chopped raisins

  • 1/4 tsp cardmom powder

How to make Rice kheer Recipe?

  1. Wash and soak rice in water for half an hour ,drain and keep aside
  2. Rinse a deep non stick pan with 1)4 cup of water and quickly simmer it for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Discard the water and heat the milk in the same pan bring it to a vigorous boli.thid would take 6-8 minutes .
  4. Add the rice mix well and cook on a slow flame for 35 -40 minutes
  5. Add 1 tbsp of milk and cook on a medium flame for 1minute .keep the saffron milk mixture adides.
  6. Add sugar and mix well and simmer Ona slow flame for 3-5 minutes while stirring occasionally. Add the cardamom powder and simmer on a slow flame for 2 minutes add the saffron milk mixture and dry fruits.cook the rice kheer on a slow flame for 10-12 minutes
  7. Switch of the flame and serve the rice kheer
