Ingredients For Ragi ladoo Recipe
Ragi flour - 2 cup
Ghee - 1 cup
Powdered jaggery - 1.5 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Almonds - 1/4 cup
Cashew - 1/4 cup
Makhana - 1/4 cup
Rolled oats - 1/4 cup
Black seasme seeds - 1/4 cup Pumpkin seeds - 1/4 cup Sunflower seeds - 1/4 cup
Watermelon seeds - 1/4 cup
Nutmeg powder - 2 tsp.
Ginger powder - 2 tsp.
Elaichi powder - 1/2 tsp.
Black raisins - 4 tbsp.
How to make Ragi ladoo Recipe?
- Dry roast all dry fruits, oats and black seasme seeds separately in fry pan on a low flame and add them in a grinder one by one to make a fine powder ( do not add all them together, add separately to make powder ) . Once it is done, mix all the dryfruits powder, oats and seasme seeds powder together.
- Toss the black raisins in a hot pan for few seconds and then keep it aside.
- Roast ragi powder with ghee in a pan for 10-12 mins. With continuous stirring on a low flame or till the ragi powder becomes slightly golden in colour. After roasting well, remove this powder in a bowl.
- Take jaggery in a pan and add water, mix it on low medium flame until the jaggery dissolves well in water. Once it is done, turn off the flame and strain it in a bowl to remove impurities.
- Now, add all the dry fruit powder mix in ragi flour, add nutmeg powder, elaicihi powder, dry ginger powder and black raisins. Mix well all the ingredients, now add jaggery syrup slowly slowly and mix it evenly.
- Take a little bit of mixture, then roll it with the help of your palms to make ladoos. Repeat the step to make more ladoos.
- After making ladoos from the mixture, store it in an airtight container.
- Enjoy anytime you need.
