Ingredients For Orange Sponge Coconut Cake with Floral Design Recipe
1 cup All Purpose Refined flour
3/4th cup Powdered Sugar
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4th cup Refined Oil
1 cup Milk
1/4th cup Desiccated Coconut
2 drops Orange Essence
Orange crush as per the taste
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
2 tablespoon Milk
2 tablespoon Vanilla Essence
100 gram Butter
How to make Orange Sponge Coconut Cake with Floral Design Recipe?
- For Cake Batter:-
- Seive and mix 1 cup all purpose flour, 3/4th cup powered sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda in a bowl
- Take another bowl, add 1/4th cup of refined oil, 1 cup of milk, 1/4th cup desiccated coconut, orange crush as per the taste and 2 drops orange essence
- Now add the mixture of dry ingredients into the bowl of wet ingredients and mix it. Cake batter is ready
- Preheat the otg oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes
- Grease a cake mold with butter and dust it with all purpose flour
- Add the cake batter into the greased cake mold
- Place the cake mold in otg oven at 180 degree Celsius for 30 to 45 minutes
- Orange Sponge Coconut Cake is ready
- Now for buttercream frosting:-
- Take 100 gram of Butter in a bowl and add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar to it. Beat with a hand beater till it becomes soft. Add 2 tablespoon milk and 2 tablespoon of vanilla essence and again beat it
- Buttercream frosting is ready.
- Pipe the buttercream and make flowers and leaf.
- And decorate the Sponge cake.
