Ingredients For Dhokla Recipe
1 cup chana dal,
1/2 cup rice,
1/2 cup urad dal,
taste to salt,
3 sp fresh curd,
1 sp sugar,
2 sp red chili powder,
4sp oil,
1/2 sp mustard seeds,
1/4 sp lemon juice,
1/4 sp turmeric,
1/2 sp fruit salt, .
1 sp sesame seeds,
a pinch of asafoetida,
4 to 5cury leaves
How to make Dhokla Recipe?
- soak a chana dal, rice, urad dal for 6-8 hours.
- grind the rice, chana dal, urad dal in a mixture grinder add water as required and make kakadu batter.
- cover and let the batter ferment for 5-6 hours. Once the batter is fermented add curd, salt, sugar, turmeric mix well. dhokla.
- Heat your steamer and grease your plate.
- just before steaming heat oil in a nonstick pan and add fruit salt add in a better immediately add lemon juice in a better mix well.
- pour the better in that. top it with red chili powder.
- allow it to cook in a steamer for 6-8 mins.
- Turm off the flame and check if done.
- Heat the oil in a nonstick pan and add the mustard seeds, sesame seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and saute on a medium flame for 30 seconds.
- Apply evenly on dhokla.
