Ingredients For Creamy Palada payasam cake Recipe
1 cup of all purpose flour
1cup of powdered sugar with cardamom
2 tbsp milk powder
1/3 cup of Oil, 4 eggs
Half tsp Baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
3-4 drops of Vanilla essence
4 tbsp Lukewarm milk
2 cups of whipping cream
3 cups of milk, rice ada for payasam
Roasted cashews and almonds
Half cup of fresh cream
Condensed milk
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp ghee
How to make Creamy Palada payasam cake Recipe?
- Mix the dry ingredients which is mentioned above in the correct measurement and keep aside
- In a bowl beat the eggs and make it fluffy
- Add vannilla essence into it
- Add powdered sugar gradually into it and beat to a foamy consistency
- Then, add the 1/3 cup oil and beat
- Next gradually add the mixed dry ingredients and mix it slowly with a help of a spatula
- Add the lukewarm milk to get the batter to get the correct texture
- And after mixing the batter add a spoon of vinegar to it and add the batter to a oil rubbed cake tin and bake in 180° for 30 minutes in an oven and wait to get it done.
- Next is the most important step of our recipe and its the making of payasam.. For that we need a thick bottomed vessel and need to boil the milk by adding 1 cup of water
- After boiling add the sugar and wait for sometime and we can add the rice ada into it and let it cook and after the adas got cooked and the payasam got the correct thickness we can add a teaspoon of cardamom powder and some ghee into it and we can turn off when its ready and wait it to cool.
- After the payasam is completely cooled we can add the fresh cream and condensed milk into it and mix it.
- Next, take a small pan and add a tsp ghee to it and roast some cashews and crushed almonds which we can use it for the toppings of the cake and in the layers
- And after getting our cake ready let it completely cool and cut it into 3 layers and pour the payasam into all the 3 layers and soak the layers for 5minutes
- And frost the cake layers gradually with the whipped cream and payasam by adding roasted almonds on each layers.. Repeat the process and cover the cake completely with cream and top it with the roasted cashews and almonds.
