Oil – 1/4 cup Milk – 1/4 cup All-purpose flour – 1 cup Milk powder – 3 tbsp Baking Soda – 1/2 tsp Baking Powder – 1 tsp Clove Powder Cinnamon powder – 1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder – 2 pinch Cashewnut – 2 tbsp Almonds – 2 tbsp Tutti Fruitti- 4 tbsp Cherry- 2 tbsp Vanilla Essence – 1/2 tsp
How to make Christmas Special- Plum Cake Recipe?
- To make then perfect Christmas fruitcake first, take a bowl and add 1/2 cup of orange juice. Now add 1 tbsp of golden raisins, 2 tbsp of black raisins, 1 tbsp of red tutti frutti, 1 tbsp of orange tutti frutti, 1 tbsp of yellow tutti frutti, 1 tbsp of green tutti frutti, 2 tbsp of chopped cherries. Now soak everything for 1/2 hour to 1 hour. Now, place a pan on flame, add 1/2 cup of sugar to it, spread well, and melt on low flame. After sugar starts melting, stir continuously and melt well. After sugar caramelises completely, turn off the flame and little by little, add 1/2 cup water and mix well. Now again, turn on the flame and boil for 1 minute. After 1 minute, turn off the flame and let it cool. Now, place a pan on flame, close the lid and preheat for 10 minutes. Now, take a bowl and add 1/4 cup of oil, 1/4 cup of milk, and whisk well. Now place a strainer on the bowl and add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 3 tbsp of milk powder, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1/4 tsp of clove powder, 1/4 tsp of cinnamon powder, two pinch nutmeg powder. Now, sieve all ingredients into the bowl. Now add prepared caramel syrup, soaked dry fruits, and mix everything gently. Now add 2 tbsp of crushed cashew, 2 tbsp of roughly chopped almonds, and mix well. Now add 1/2 tsp of vanilla essence and mix gently. Now take a cake tin, grease it with oil, place and butter paper, & grease it. Now transfer the cake batter into the cake tin and garnish it with dry fruits and berries. After 10 minutes, check the preheated pan and place a stand into the pan. Now, place the cake tin on the stand, close the lid and bake on low flame for 40-50 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the lid, check the cake, and again decorate the cake with dry fruits and cherries. After 40 minutes, again check the cake with the toothpick or knife; if the knife is clean, your cake is baked perfectly and turns off the flame, nighter cook for two more minutes. Now, take the cake tin out from the pan and let it cool. After the cake has cooled down, de-mould the cake. Now your Christmas special fruit cake is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
