Ingredients For Chole puri Recipe

  • Maida 500 gms

  • Green chilli

  • 2 cup chickpea

  • 2 tsp oil

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 1 tap whole pepper corns

  • 3-4 cloves

  • 3 green cardamon

  • 1 tap turmeric powder

  • Chili powder

  • Salt

  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes

  • 2 cup refined flour

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat

  • Water

  • 1 tap ajwain

  • 1 tap ginger

  • 1 tap garlic chopped

  • And few spices

How to make Chole puri Recipe?

  1. After it browns, add chopped onions and saute. Add chopped ginger and garlic
  2. Now, add turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, asafoetida and salt. Fry the ingredients together
  3. In pan, add a little water.
  4. Now, add the chole (soaked overnight and pressure cooketo the masala
  5. After stirring well, add tomatoes, a little sugar and salt to the chole.
  6. Now, add ajwain, chopped green chilies and water for the base.
  7. To get the color in the chole, add a tea bag to the masala
  8. Simmer the chole gently for an hour and cover it.
  9. Garnish the chole with coriander and butter and serve them hot with bhaturas
