Ingredients For Chha Gosht Recipe

  • 750 gms Mutton

  • 1 Bay Leaf

  • 1/2 inch Cinnamon Stick

  • 4 Cloves

  • 2 Black cardamom

  • 1 tsp garlic paste

  • 1 tsp ginger paste

  • 1/2 cup Yogurt

  • Salt as per taste

  • 3 tbsp Mustard oil

  • 1/8 tsp Asafoetida

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 inch finely chopped ginger

  • 3 Green Chillies (slit)

  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder

  • 2 Onions (sliced)

  • 2 tbsp Water

  • 3 tbsp Gram Flour (roaste

  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

  • 1/2 cup Yogurt

  • Coriander Leaves (chopped)

How to make Chha Gosht Recipe?

  1. Take Mutton in a mixing bowl, Coarsely crushed the cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and transfer in mutton bowl
  2. Add bay leaf, ginger and garlic paste, Yogurt, salt, mix well marinate for 3 to 4 hours
  3. Heat mustard oil in a deep kadhai when oil smoky, add asafoetida, coriander powder, chopped ginger and chopped green chillies in this, Saute this
  4. Add red chilli powder and Onion and stir, when onion soft add little water to avoid the masala burn
  5. When onion nicely cook add roasted gram flour and mix, now add Marinated mutton in this and mix
  6. Now add turmeric, coriander powder and yogurt and gives nice mix
  7. Now add water, cover and cook on low flame, till mutton soft and tender, occasionally stir this
  8. When oil is released, curry is done
  9. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with rice and enjoy
