Ingredients For Cabbage pista spinach barfi Recipe

  • Chopped cabbage 2 cups

  • Spinach puree 1/2 cup

  • Pista powder 1/2 cup

  • Ghee 1/2 cup

  • Milk 1 cup

  • Khoya 1 cup

  • Honey 1/2 cup

  • Grated jaggery 1/2 cup

  • Peanut butter 2 tbsp

  • Desicatted coconut 2 tbsp

  • Cardamom powder 2 tsp

How to make Cabbage pista spinach barfi Recipe?

  1. In a pan in hot boiling water ,par boil chopped cabbage and drain all water later on
  2. Then in a pan heat ghee saute this par boiled cabbage for 5 minutes
  3. Now add milk to it saute on low flame till cabbage is soften and milk gets absorbed
  4. Now add grated jaggery and stir on low flame till jaggery melts
  5. Now add khoya mix all well
  6. Add spinach puree and honey ,stir till it begins to form a lump
  7. Now add pista powder and peanut butter,cardamom powder and stit till barfi leaves the sides of pan
  8. Now add desicatted coconut mix all well
  9. Transfer this barfi in greased tray and let it come to room temperature
  10. Then set it in freeze for 1/2 hour
  11. Now put this barfi in mould and unmould it
  12. Serve it in serving plate with garnish of desicatted coconut and grated pista
