Ingredients For Cabbage pista spinach barfi Recipe
Chopped cabbage 2 cups
Spinach puree 1/2 cup
Pista powder 1/2 cup
Ghee 1/2 cup
Milk 1 cup
Khoya 1 cup
Honey 1/2 cup
Grated jaggery 1/2 cup
Peanut butter 2 tbsp
Desicatted coconut 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder 2 tsp
How to make Cabbage pista spinach barfi Recipe?
- In a pan in hot boiling water ,par boil chopped cabbage and drain all water later on
- Then in a pan heat ghee saute this par boiled cabbage for 5 minutes
- Now add milk to it saute on low flame till cabbage is soften and milk gets absorbed
- Now add grated jaggery and stir on low flame till jaggery melts
- Now add khoya mix all well
- Add spinach puree and honey ,stir till it begins to form a lump
- Now add pista powder and peanut butter,cardamom powder and stit till barfi leaves the sides of pan
- Now add desicatted coconut mix all well
- Transfer this barfi in greased tray and let it come to room temperature
- Then set it in freeze for 1/2 hour
- Now put this barfi in mould and unmould it
- Serve it in serving plate with garnish of desicatted coconut and grated pista
