Ingredients For Bajre ka pua Recipe
Bajre ka atta 1 cup
Wholewheat flour 1tbsp
Sesame seeds 1/2 tsp
Desi ghee 1 tsp
Jaggery 1/2 cup
Water 1 cup
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Dessicated coconut 1 tbsp
Oil for frying
How to make Bajre ka pua Recipe?
- Take 1 cup water in a saucepan and add 1/2 cup jaggery and boil till dissolved.
- Take the bajre ka atta in a large bowl and add wholewheat flour, sesame seeds, desi ghee, cardamom powder, dessicated coconut. Mix it with a spoon.
- To the atta mixture add the slightly cooled jaggery water and knead a firm but soft dough.
- Cover and rest the dough for 10 minutes.
- Take a ball of the dough and roll out a round shape.
- Deep fry these puas in medium hot oil till cooked and crisp.
